The German Table Tennis Bundesliga (TTBL) and YUM launch a strategic service partnership

YUM takes over the technical implementation and further development of the TTBL website

The Table Tennis Bundesliga (TTBL) is restructuring its digital services and has entered into a long-term service partnership with the digital company YUM. As part of this, YUM will, with immediate effect, take over the technical implementation, support and ongoing development of the official TTBL website.

As part of this reorganisation, the collaboration with the previous technical partner, Tickaroo, is coming to an end; the TTBL would like to thank Tickaroo for the trust-based cooperation over the past years.

With YUM, the TTBL gains an official service partner that will provide comprehensive support to the league in the technical, functional and content-related management of its website. The aim of the partnership is to develop the TTBL website sustainably and consistently align it with the requirements of fans, the media and partners.

“The demands placed on our digital platforms have increased significantly in recent years,” says Nico Stehle, Managing Director of the Table Tennis Bundesliga. “In YUM, we have found a strong and experienced partner who will support us in further developing our website in a targeted manner and ensuring it is fit for the future. At the same time, we would like to thank Tickaroo for the trusting and collaborative partnership over the past few years.”

As part of the partnership, YUM will be integrated as an official service partner of the TTBL. The collaboration includes, amongst other things, joint communication initiatives, a visible logo presence on the TTBL website, and integration into selected digital channels of the league. Furthermore, YUM is part of the TTBL network and will be present at key league events.

“We are delighted to have earned the TTBL’s trust and to have the opportunity to actively shape the league’s digital development.” With over 25 years’ experience in digital platform development within German elite sport, our aim is to create a connected digital platform for professional table tennis in Germany that intelligently brings together content, data and systems. “We will soon be bundling this expertise under the ARENIQ brand in our own suite of digital sports solutions,” explains Ralf Neumann, Managing Director at YUM.

With this new service partnership, the TTBL is consistently driving forward the strategic development of its digital infrastructure.
