TSV Bad Königshofen signs Liao Cheng-Ting

TSV Bad Königshofen is setting the stage for the upcoming season by signing 30-year-old Taiwanese player Liao Cheng-Ting. The internationally experienced top player has signed a one-year contract and will join the Bavarian Table Tennis Bundesliga club’s roster immediately.

Liao Cheng-Ting is regarded as a strong all-around player with extensive international experience. With this signing, TSV is responding to the competitive challenges of the increasingly strong Table Tennis Bundesliga (TTBL). The move was made possible by the club’s stable financial situation. Matthias Braun, CFO, emphasizes the collective effort: “I’m glad that, thanks to the helpful support of our partner network, we’re able to cover the financial costs of this last-minute transfer.”

Manager Andy Albert is also enthusiastic: “Liao will quickly integrate into our family-run club. He’s an easygoing guy who fits perfectly with our team. Experience has shown how important it is to start the season with five players to cover for injuries and remain competitive in the long run.”

Team captain Bastian Steger is also looking forward to the collaboration: “I was involved in the decision regarding Liao alongside our new coach in the run-up to the season, and we are convinced that he can strengthen our team.”
