TTBL Licensing: Twelve Clubs Granted Licenses for the 2026–27 Season

The Table Tennis Bundesliga (TTBL) will enter the new 2026/27 season with the same twelve clubs as last year. All clubs that applied for a license have been granted eligibility to participate in the upcoming season.

Over the past few months, TTBL Sport GmbH, in collaboration with an independent auditing firm, reviewed the submitted documents. As part of the licensing process, legal, personnel, administrative, infrastructural, and financial criteria were evaluated. Based on this, TTBL Sport GmbH awarded the licenses for the new season.

From the 2nd Bundesliga, TSV Windsbach initially applied for a license for the 2026/27 season. However, the club withdrew its application during the licensing process. No other applications from the 2nd Bundesliga were received.

The following clubs will compete in the TTBL during the 2026/27 season:

Borussia Düsseldorf, 1. FC Saarbrücken TT, Post SV Mühlhausen, TTC RhönSprudel Fulda-Maberzell, TTF Liebherr Ochsenhausen, TTC Schwalbe Bergneustadt, TSV Bad Königshofen, SV Werder Bremen, ASC Grünwettersbach, TTC Zugbrücke Grenzau, BV Borussia 09 Dortmund, and TTC OE Clarity Telefonie-Systeme Bad Homburg e.V.
